Find out if your resume gets past an ATS
Upload your resume as a PDF and see in seconds what a recruiting system reads from it, what is missing and what to fix so you reach a person, not the archive.
- A 0–100 score, explained criterion by criterion
- The exact text the robot sees
- The match with a job ad, if you add one
What is an ATS?
ATS stands for “Applicant Tracking System”, the software a company uses to receive and sort job applications. Many companies, especially large ones, use one to handle dozens or hundreds of resumes for a single role.
The system turns your PDF into plain text and looks for section headings, contact details, dates and the keywords from the job ad. The recruiter then sees a ranked or filtered list. If the text comes out jumbled or the right words are missing, your resume can end up low in the list even when you have the experience.
Why good resumes get rejected
Most of the time it is not your experience, but how the file is built.
Columns and tables
A two-column resume looks good, but many systems read lines from left to right and mix up the information.
PDFs that are really pictures
A scanned resume or one saved as an image contains no text. To an ATS, the page is empty.
Unusual headings
“My journey” sounds nice, but the system looks for “Work experience”. Standard headings are always found.
Missing keywords
If the ad asks for “SAP” or “bookkeeping” and you phrase it differently, the filter does not make the link.
Hidden contact details
An email shown only as an icon or placed in the page footer may not be read at all.
How the check works
- 01
You upload your PDF resume
Optionally, you paste the job ad you are interested in.
- 02
We read it like an ATS
We extract the text in the order a recruiting system reads it, without tidying it up.
- 03
You get the score and the fixes
See what works, what is missing and exactly what to change, in order of importance.
The check mimics how most systems read a resume. Every ATS has its own rules, so the score is a guide, not a guarantee.
